Raheem Sterling's gun tattoo
It seems his old man was gunned down, hence the tattoo. I'm sorry for him for that tragic event. He can express it how he likes, although it can obviously be taken the wrong way.

I vowed never to smoke fags or touch another man's c*** but I don't have either tattooed on my leg or any where else for that matter. Same goes for pickled beetroot.

I just don't understand the media's seeming obsession with denigrating Sterling by whatever method they can find. It's gone on for years. Let's say it's suspicious at best.

And if nothing else it's incredibly unpatriotic. What is the benefit of stirring up nonsense against one of England's best players right before a World Cup?

It might be because he's black Alex. Or it could just be that he's a horrible little cunt that deserves the media's negative attention...

Your lack of a mans c*** tattoo did make me laugh :-)

Young Raheem does seem a favourite target of the tabloids. Bitter Scousers?
As said the media love these hatchet jobs and then spend time saying how terrible it is that the players won’t speak to them.

There is always some nutter ready to say he should be banned for life and fined £100m

Re: Raheem Sterling's gun tattoo
I'd hazard a guess that as he's idolised by thousands of children and is a potential role model, him shagging a whore, doing drugs and getting a gun tattoo at a time w here loads of black fella's are killing each other are reasons seen as being worth newspaper column's.

Me personally, couldn't care less what he does, but I'm not a snowflake like the majority of the country nowadays.

If your old man was gunned down wouldn’t a fitting tribute be a park bench at a place he liked?

Not a gun on your calf!

A man whore would probably have been a better option than some of those fuckers Rooney used to rinse.

I know it's an old and hackneyed topic on here, but I always wonder why people can't just think what they want, feel what they want without having pictures of it drawn on their skin forever?

What a load of crap about nothing

I personally dislike Tattoo's - especially on a woman but people who like them are free to do whatever they want to their skin - no matter how terrible and rubbish the end result is.

The gun on his calf looks awful but at least somebody who can draw has done the damn thing.

I've seen some shockingly bad bits of Tattoo artwork...last week I saw somebody with a huge one of the old Keep Britain Tidy silhouette of the chap chucking litter in a bin

What is the thought process involved that makes a person think that is a credible thing to do?

I don't understand it

I hate what pur media do, but to clarify the point you're clearly trying to make, they have done it to every good England player just before a tournament.

Rooney has been mullered over the years, as one example of literally hundreds.

Re: Raheem Sterling's gun tattoo
At least no one is going over the top about this

"“We demand he has the tattoo lasered off or covered up with a different tattoo.

“If he refuses he should be dropped from the England team. He’s supposed to be a role model but chooses to glamorise guns.”"

Bungo 5:44 Tue May 29
Re: Raheem Sterling's gun tattoo
I do wonder if some of this pre-tournament media rubbish is due to the fact that they're desperately trying to create 'newsworthy' stories out of nothing?

Probably would be best for everyone if all media outlets announced that there would be NO coverage of football or footballers until 13th June?
